Last night we went o sleep to the sound of light rain on the camper, that was pleasant, soon it became a downpour which caused a little concern thinking about packing up.
Anyway we slept well but woke to find a lot of red mud, it was not only on the ground but splashed up the sides of everything that was at ground level.
Packing up took a fair bit longer with everything wet, it seemed that nothing fit back into the trailer the way it went in the first time, maybe the rain had swelled everything, LOL.
We never left St George till 1100 having to pick up some supplies in town on the way out, we also needed water for the camper tank which you can get at the information centre, that didn't go well very either with both the ten litre jerry's exploding as they were filled up, I guess they might have been a bit old.
Heading out of town we realised that we were not going to get into the campsite at Currawinya till after 1600 and probably in the rain, so we decided to spend the night in Cunnamulla
We have lashed out tonight and got a cabin, seeing as we had no set up time after booking in we headed into town to have a little look around.
One of the main attractions in town was the Cunnamulla Center so we headed to it, the center has an art gallery, museum, and little self guided tour, we really enjoyed the center spending an hour or so there.

Our unscheduled stop has turned out be be pretty good, Cunnamulla is worth a stop over, and the Top Tourist Park is pretty good.
Tomorrow we head of early for Currawinya NP for a couple of nights.
