Halls Creek
Because we did the Tanami faster than we intended we were ahead of schedule so decided to stay at Halls Creek for two nights instead of one.
The caravan park turned out to be OK, no resort by any stretch of the imagination but it had decent amenities and we felt safe and secure there.
We did some sightseeing around the town, which pretty much means the Information Centre which is very nice, and the Aboriginal art gallery which has some great art from local aboriginals now being flogged off at ridiculous prices to the tourists.
Shopping in Halls Creek is interesting, they have some great shops which seem to be very multi functional, like the butcher shop that sells clothes and milk shakes, and the clothes shop / Cafe.

Having seen the sights of Halls Creek and done the shopping we needed to do we spent most of the time in camp, the boys did some school work and I did some cooking in the oven, this time experimenting with biscuits which only lasted a few minutes I think, I guess they must have been alright.
